Answer your agents from your iPhone
The Mac does the work, the iPhone keeps you in the loop: answer the agent, approve a step or start a new task.
The phone never talks to AI services itself. It shows your Mac’s sessions and controls them. The link goes through a relay server and is end-to-end encrypted.
Step by step: pair your iPhone
- On the Mac, click the “Link iPhone” capsule in the window toolbar.
- A window opens with a QR code and six digits.
- Open Hedoq on the iPhone. On the pairing screen, scan the QR code or enter the six digits.
- Done: the capsule on the Mac shows the phone’s name and an “online” dot.
The code lives for 5 minutes. A wrong code burns it, and the Mac shows a new one right away.
What you see on the iPhone
- The sidebar. Sessions, on-hold sessions and automations, just like on the Mac. A purple dot on a row means a question, a green one means a reply.
- The session feed. The same as on the Mac: replies, steps, images, files. Questions and permission requests come as buttons: one tap and the agent goes on.
- The message field. Plus for photos, the camera and files; the lightning bolt for Hedoq commands; the model name to switch models; read aloud; the mic for dictation.
- Session screen. The terminal icon in the header shows the terminal text as is, with keys 1, 2, 3, arrows, Enter and Esc. A fallback when a question has no buttons.
- Usage. The ring in the header: the session’s context and “Refresh session”. Pull the sheet up to see subscription limits.
- A notch around the Dynamic Island: the tightest limit and your sessions.
A new session from the phone
At the bottom of the sidebar, start a new session: choose a session or an automation, a name, an agent and a project. The button with glasses next to it starts an incognito session.
Good to know
- The Mac must be on and Hedoq running. To keep the Mac from sleeping, turn on lid-closed mode.
- If the Mac is offline, your message is not sent and stays in the field.
- If a message was not delivered, it says so underneath: tap it to retry.
- The end-of-turn chime plays while the app is open. It has its own switch in the app settings.
- You can pair several iPhones with one Mac. To unpair, use “Unlink” in the capsule window on the Mac, or sign out and unlink on the iPhone.
If something does not work
- The phone says Hedoq on the computer is offline: open Hedoq on the Mac and check that it is not asleep.
- The phone says there is a macOS prompt and the agent is waiting: a system window is open on the Mac. Answer it there.
