Install what is missing and give Hedoq macOS access
Hedoq sees what is missing on this Mac and installs it when you click.
A fresh Mac may lack things Hedoq needs. Nothing installs without you: the feature stays visible and offers the install the first time you use it.
What installs with one click
- Claude Code. Needed for chats. Installs in a tab, so you see the progress.
- Git. Needed for the “Changes” window and separate project copies. Also in a tab.
- Voice input. Speech recognition on this Mac, about 2 GB.
- Answer voice. Reads answers aloud in Russian and English, about 1.2 GB.
- Agents Codex, Gemini and OpenCode.
Step by step
- Click the gear in the toolbar.
- Agents and Git: in the Agents block, open “Agents and models” and click “Install” next to the item.
- Voice: the Voice block. Or just click the mic in the message field: if the pack is missing, Hedoq opens the “Voice” window with an install button.
- Wait for “Installed”. The feature works right away.
macOS access
Agents work through Hedoq, so macOS asks Hedoq for permissions. Grant them ahead of time: otherwise a prompt pops up on the Mac in the middle of a task, and you will not see it from your phone.
- Gear, Agents block, “macOS access”.
- Click “Allow all” and answer the macOS prompts.
- Rows with a “Settings” button can only be switched on in System Settings: the button opens the right pane.
What the list includes:
- Full Disk Access, or Desktop, Documents, Downloads;
- Accessibility (needed for dictation in other apps);
- Screen Recording;
- App Management;
- Local Network;
- Microphone (also asked before your first voice recording);
- Control of other apps.
Good to know
- Meeting recording also needs “Screen & System Audio Recording”: that is how Hedoq hears the other side.
- Voice packs download once, then work offline.
- If you denied a permission, macOS will not ask again. Turn Hedoq on in System Settings, in the matching Privacy & Security pane.
