Which agents work in Hedoq and how to use your own subscription

Hedoq runs the agents installed on your Mac and uses your own subscriptions and keys.

Hedoq does not resell model access and does not route your requests through its servers. Each agent talks to its own service directly, with your sign-in or key.

Supported agents

  • Claude Code. The main agent in Hedoq: the feed, the message field, model switching, “Refresh session”.
  • Codex. Also runs as a feed with a message field and model switching.
  • Gemini CLI and OpenCode. Run in a terminal tab: you type straight into the terminal.
  • Custom command. Any command-line agent: enter the command that starts it.
  • Your own models. Ollama, LM Studio, llama.cpp or your own server at an address. Claude Code drives such a model.

Step by step: install an agent

  1. Click the gear in the toolbar, then “Agents and models” in the Agents block.
  2. Next to the agent you need, click “Install”. It installs in a tab, so you see the progress.
  3. Once installed, the agent shows up in the “Agent” row of the “New session” window.

Step by step: connect a subscription

  1. Hover the notch at the top of the screen and click ”+” under the cards. The “Connect AI” window opens.
  2. Pick a service:
    • Claude: through your Claude Code sign-in (subscription). If you are not signed in, click “Sign in again”. You can also save a subscription token from claude setup-token; it is optional.
    • Codex: “Sign in with ChatGPT”, or an OpenAI API key.
    • Gemini: with a Google account or an API key.
    • OpenCode: it asks for a provider itself, subscription or key.
    • Grok, Z.ai, Kimi, DeepSeek, OpenRouter, Moonshot: sign in or add a key to see the limit or balance in the notch.
  3. Click “Connect”. The service limits appear in the notch.

Step by step: your own model

  1. In the “New session” window, choose the “Local model” agent.
  2. The “Your models” window looks for Ollama, LM Studio and llama.cpp running on this Mac. Click “Connect” next to the model you want.
  3. For a model on another machine, click “Your server” and enter the address, the key if needed, and the model name.

Good to know

  • Keys you enter go to macOS Keychain. A key is sent only to its own service.
  • A session with your own model always runs in the terminal, and its model cannot be switched.
  • To remove an agent, use the trash icon in “Agents and models”.
