Conductor alternative: free, with iPhone, local voice and every subscription's limits
Conductor is great for running coding agents in parallel and for teams. Hedoq does the same on your Mac for free and adds iPhone, local voice, limits for every subscription and automations.

Conductor and Hedoq solve a similar problem: several agents work on your code at once, each in its own copy of the project, and you review the changes and decide what to keep. The difference is everything around that.
When to pick Hedoq
- You use Gemini CLI, local models through Ollama or LM Studio, or another command line agent.
- You want to answer agents from your iPhone: it shows the same feed as the Mac, and agent questions arrive as buttons.
- You want to see what’s left in every subscription. Hedoq shows the limits of all connected services by the notch. In automations, when an agent runs out of limit, Hedoq hands the task to another agent.
- You give tasks by voice. Speech is recognized on your Mac, and the audio never leaves it.
- You need scheduled tasks, meeting notes with a summary, or work with the lid closed.
When Conductor is the better fit
- You work as a team. Conductor has a Teams plan with live collaboration and central billing. Hedoq has no team plans.
- You want cloud workspaces on Conductor’s machines rather than on your own server.
- You need Cursor as an agent.
How to switch
- Download Hedoq for Mac and open the same project folder.
- Start a session with the agent you use. Your subscriptions and keys stay yours. If the agent isn’t installed, Hedoq offers to install it in one click.
- For parallel work, turn on “Separate copy of the project”, then bring the result back with “Apply to project”.
